NEWSLETTER #1 2023/24 SEASON
Dear Members,
Welcome to all returning and new members. After finishing last season on such a high by winning the
‘Top Club’ award, we are hoping to have another fantastic season.
Committee Members
This season we have a full committee who are all working hard to get the season underway. These are the
people you need to know -

Uniforms, club socks and bibs
Uniforms and club socks will be available for purchase on Saturday. All fully paid members must be in
the correct uniform, which is our club singlet or crop top and plain black shorts with no logos. Trialing
athletes can wear anything comfortable and appropriate for the event.
Mel, Jess and Magda will be able to help you out with this on Saturday. Cash payment or internet banking
is available.
Your child’s bib will also be available for pick up at our club desk on Saturday. Please be patient with us
as GLAC are extremely busy printing out close to 500 bibs for all athletes and will be continuing to do
this early in the morning. Everyone is doing their best to have them ready by 8.00am. Please note that if
you signed up late or have not yet provided you proof of age, your bib may not be ready and available on
Saturday.
This week is Program 1.

Parent Duty Roster
Thank you to those parents who got back to me to volunteer their time this week. We really appreciate your help in stepping up in busy week 1. A roster will be going around for all to sign up on your preferred week. Duty is a requirement for all parents of full members.

Remember to arrive and check in about 8am. First event calls are at 8.15 sharp. The canteen will be open with new owners and a new menu!
